DESCRIPTION:Join us Tuesday\, February 11th at Bella Serra in Canonsburg\, Pa.\, to hear Jim Welty\, president of the Marcellus Shale Coalition (MSC)\, share a 2025 Outlook. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSchedule \n\n\n\n\n11 a.m. – noon: Check-in\, networking\, lunch\n\n\n\nNoon – 1 p.m.: Announcements\, speaker introduction\, presentation\n\n\n\n\nRegistration \n\n\n\n\nEarly-bird member cost $45\n\n\n\nEarly-bird non-member cost $85\n\n\n\nEarly-bird registration will end on Monday\, February 3rd at midnight.\n\n\n\nRegular registration member cost $55\n\n\n\nRegular non-member cost $95\n\n\n\nOnline registration will end February 10th at midnight.\n\n\n\n\nSponsorships \n\n\n\n\nEvent Sponsorship\, $1\,500: Includes 2 registrations\, signage\, table tents\, mention in promotional materials and an option for sponsor representatives to introduce themselves.\n\n\n\nFood Sponsorship\, $750: Includes 1 registration and signage at the event.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Speaker\n\n\n\n\n\nIn January of 2025\, Jim Welty assumed the role of president of the Marcellus Shale Coalition (MSC)\, the leading trade association for entities engaged in all aspects of unconventional shale development in Pennsylvania\, including exploration and production\, midstream gathering\, processing and transportation\, as well as the suppliers\, contractors and building trade unions that work with the industry. \n\n\n\nAs president\, Jim oversees the day-to-day operations of the MSC\, serves as its chief spokesperson\, and engages with stakeholders interested in the safe\, efficient development of our shale resources.  Jim joined the MSC in May of 2013 as vice president of government affairs\, where he was responsible for the legislative and regulatory activities\, oversight of the organization’s committee structure\, and grassroots engagement. \n\n\n\nBefore joining the MSC\, Jim represented several exploration and production companies in the nascent days of the Marcellus shale boom as a government relations professional with Buchannan Ingersol & Rooney and K&L Gates.  Prior to that\, he served as corporate secretary and vice president of legislative and corporate affairs at the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry.
