Join us for our Q1 Luncheon at Bella Sera in Canonsburg. We have moved the date to Feb. 20 to coincide with the Appalachian Pipeliners Speaker Dinner. The intent is to better accommodate both organizations' members and friends who travel in to attend our events.
Eric Brooks from S&P Global Platts will present the following topic: "Production and Takeaway Outlook for 2018 and Beyond"
As the US Northeast region undergoes a major buildout in pipeline infrastructure, challenges move farther afield. Previously, growth was hindered by constrained capacity upstream and the low prices that followed. Now, takeaway may not be so much a concern, but reaching markets where the gas is needed—and capturing economic spreads—will pose novel challenges requiring creative solutions.
Eric Brooks has been with S&P Global Platts since June 2015, covering the Northeast region during that time. His work involves in-depth analysis published in the Daily and Weekly Northeast Observers, as well as in Gas Daily and Inside FERC, with a keen focus on pipeline development and expansions. Prior to joining S&P Global Platts, Eric worked as a natural gas scheduler at Twin Eagle Resource Management and Ultra Petroleum in Houston, TX, where his responsibilities included scheduling and cash trading on Algonquin, TCO, Tennessee, TETCO, Transco, and REX. Eric received a bachelor’s degree in economics and English from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
